Being considerate of other people has never been a problem for you, but just because it's second nature for you doesn't mean it doesn't require conscious thinking on your part. Never assume that you can be careless when dealing with others. You have the same inherent prejudices everybody else does, and they pop out all the time. Usually, they don't hurt anyone. But watch out for a slip of the tongue today that might raise a few eyebrows. Luckily, you're a person who's willing to learn! |
